well it should be alright for the moment, but you shouldn’t do it as part of their diet. it contains what is needed for hamsters and isn’t necciserilly made for Guineas.

give them lots of veg,

NO!!
Guinea pigs require plain pellets, specially made for them. They can absolutely NOT eat seeds, they have very little nutrition and are a choking hazard! Guinea pigs can not eat rabbit food either! Rabbits and guinea pigs have very different dietary needs, and some rabbit food contains an antibiotic that is very harmful for guinea pigs.

If this is the guinea pigs diet, it is very malnourished.

Those poor piggies ! They need special Guinea Pig feed, not hamster or rabbit ! hamster seed is a very bad diet and Rabbit food does not contain a proper amount of vitamins for them.
They need a constant supply of Timothy hay and you can feed them different greens, mine love cucumber and tomatoes, aswell as bits of carrots and orange.

This is why school’s shouldn’t have class pets, they just don’t know how to properly care for them !

no it is not ok unless you plan on killin your guine apig seeds and nuts are the worst diet ever for guine apig you didnt do your research you guine apig needs vitamen enriched pellets and romaine lettuce and parsley and fruits that are not stringy please go to a pet store and asked for vitam c enriched guine apig pellets
by the way you will seriously hurt our guine apigs tummy buy feeding it hamster foOOD!

Yea its fine just make shure to stop by the store and get some timothy hay. A mixed diet of hamster food,timothy hay,and mixed fruits and vegitables will be suitable.Or for the heck of it just go get some guinea pig food i mean u dont need it but what the timothy hay?

Guinea pigs are not like hamsters. They need to have access to timothy hay through the day, and their feed needs to have Vitamin C, as they cannot produce it themselves. This can be found in dark leafy greens, or simply purchase a pellet feed that is suitable for guinea pigs (it will say so on the package). Feeding an animal with food that is not suitable for it may not cause any noticeable symptoms right now, but will cause problems (like through deficiency) in the long run. Please purchase the right feed.

Is it ok to feed guinea pigs hamster food?
I know this sounds like a wierd question but I’m babysitting 2 guinea pigs for my teacher (I took them home over winter break) and my teacher gave me rabbit food and hamster food to feed them. She only gave me a little so it ran out and now I’m using my old hamster food. It seems to be ok because the pigs are perfectly healthy. I just wanted to make sure.
