I grew up on Bernard and Lawrence.
I remember there being LK’s, SC’s and Royal’s. The neighborhood used to be really Jewish and changed in the 70’s and 80’s. ing was really big city wide, especially on the North Side. A lot of todays yuppies/kids won’t know nothing about that though. There are a still a few holdouts to this day.
